SMS Terms
Last updated: October 31, 2026
OvenGo sends text messages on behalf of the restaurants you order from. There are two kinds, with different rules.
Order updates (transactional)
When you place an order we may text you that it was received, that it is ready, that a courier is on the way, that something was refunded, or a quick question about your order. These are part of fulfilling your order and go to the number you gave when ordering.
Offers and loyalty updates (marketing)
You receive these only if you opted in — by ticking the box at checkout, in your account settings, or at the counter. Message frequency varies by restaurant (typically a few messages a month). Consent is not a condition of purchase.
How to stop or get help
- Reply STOP to any message to cancel marketing texts. You get one confirmation and nothing further.
- Reply START to rejoin, or turn texts back on in your account.
- Reply HELP for help, or email support@ovensmith.com.
After STOP you still receive essential order updates for orders you place (ready, on the way, canceled, refunded, or a question we need answered).
Cost and carriers
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. All major US carriers are supported.
Privacy
Your number is used to deliver these messages and is never sold. See the Privacy Policy.
